Frieda Marie Boesling, age 84, of Defiance passed away at Glennpark of Defiance on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025.She was born at home in Defiance, Ohio, on July 28, 1940, to the late Alvin and Clara (Schwake) Boesling.She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Florida, Ohio, and was involved in the Lutheran Woman Missionary League as well as The Ladies Aid.She spent her working years at Golnitz Grocery in Defiance, Chief Supermarket and Holiday Inn in Napoleon, and retired working for Maumee Valley Vending in Defiance.She was an avid baker and enjoyed handing down her talents to family members. Frieda also enjoyed gardening, quilting and traveling with her loving sister Lavina to different places in the world.Frieda is survived by her nieces, Doris (Kenneth) Miller, Evelyn McMurtrie; great-nieces and nephews, Eric (Anita) Miller, Kurt (Kelley) McMurtrie, Tina (Michael Benjamin) Meyer, Michelle (Kevin) Henson, Scott (Leslie) McMurtrie, Susan (Todd) Wyckhouse; and 15 great-great
