Jerry J. Palmer, 90, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on the farm on March 6, 2025.He was born on May 3, 1934, to Glen and Estella (Shultz) Palmer.A lifelong farmer, Jerry dedicated his life to working the land, following in his father's footsteps. He also proudly served as a Napoleon School bus driver, safely transporting countless children over the years. He was a familiar, friendly face to many students and families in the community.On June 5, 1954, Jerry married Mary Lou Saneholtz, and together they built a life centered around family, faith, and hard work. Mary Lou preceded him in death in 2019. Also preceding him in death a brother Ronald Palmer.In addition to farming, Jerry worked for Henry Soil and Water Conservation District, where he played a key role in conservation efforts. One of the things he enjoyed most about his work was delivering no-till planters to the county's farmers, helping them adopt sustainable farming practices.Jerry held various seasona
