Joel Donald Kerwin, 64, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 22, 2025. He was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to Roger and Janet (McClure) Kerwin on February 24, 1961.
He was a member of Country Chapel Christian Union in Napoleon for many years. Joel was a proud son and District Commander of the McClure American Legion where he helped and was involved in various events. He was also a member of the Napoleon Moose Lodge where he spent some of his free time. Joel drove propane trucks for various companies in the Napoleon and McClure areas including Napoleon Propane and Pearl Gas Company.
Joel is survived by his mother, Janet Kerwin; son, Derrick (Mariah) Kerwin; daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Durham; previous wife, Cheryl Kerwin; grandchildren, Vincent Durham, Oliver Durham, Harvey Kerwin, and Eleanor Kerwin; brothers, Mark (Ann) Kerwin, and Matthew (Michele) Kerwin; and uncle, Duane Kerwin.
