Joel Donald Kerwin, 64, of Napoleon, Ohio, following a day surrounded by family, was called to rest while his brother was at his side, on March 22, 2025.He was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Roger and Janet (McClure) Kerwin on Feb. 24, 1961.Joel was a proud member and District Commander of the Sons of The American Legion in McClure, where he poured himself into serving the community. He was Chairman of the Radish Festival, took various roles in the annual Memorial Day parade, organized the annual McClure Open, and so much more.Joel was a member of Country Chapel Christian Union Church and the Napoleon Moose Lodge. He loved to immerse himself in history and sci-fi novels and found entertainment in discussing the politics of the day.Joel made a career in propane, working at various companies (such as Pearl Gas and Napoleon Propane) predominantly in the McClure and Napoleon areas. He climbed the ladder from painting tanks and delivering propane, to management.Joel is survived by his mot
