David Lee Ricker of Ayersville passed away on March 25, 2025, at The Meadows of Kalida at age of 72. He was born on September 16, 1952, to the late James and Mary Lou (Verity) Ricker. On October 20, 1979, he married Linda Jo Wolford who survives in Ayersville.Dave grew up in Glandorf, Ohio and graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf. He worked at General Motors for 38 1/2 years, retiring in 2011. Dave was a member of the Local 211 in Defiance. He was also a member of the Napoleon Church of the Nazarene, where he served his Lord in numerous positions at the church from Head Usher to Quiz Coach among them. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards and fishing.A man of unwavering faith, Dave was a beacon of light to all who knew him. His life was marked by kindness, humility, and a steadfast trust in God's promises. Whether through his gentle encouragement, warm smile, or the countless ways he served his family, friends, and community, David embodied Christ's love in action.D
